I don’t know about you but when I hear “Chris Miller and Phil Lord,” I think of high-energy comedy verging on manic, and not…well, The Afterparty. I like the show! But it’s sort of a head-scratcher thinking about how laid back the show feels compared to most of their other work. Maybe not everything can be a LEGO movie or 21 Jump Street.
