“For genre cinema aficionados, few festivals on this green Earth compare to Austin’s Fantastic Fest, a locus of all things horror, action, and sci-fi. Bizarro combinations of each exist, too—marriages between these classifications yield movies that don’t belong to any single genre, much less known ones.
