A Constant Visual Feast

I’m not interested in gift guides. Conceptually, they’re fine. I’m notoriously shitty at gift giving, something I consider a talent as well as a fundamental life skill; that people exist who make it their jobs to tell me, an idiot, how to properly shop for loved ones – who, by the way, are strangers to these people – is a miracle for which I’m ever grateful. But the average gift guide has no savoir faire. They’re just lists. And I get it. That’s the point! You send a list to help others write their lists. Makes sense. 

All the same, there’s a way to finesse this sort of thing, which is exactly what I did for the Cool Material Ultimate Movie Lover’s Gift Guide. This is no mere assortment of Things That Be Awesome if you are, in fact, a movie lover.
