I dumped years’ worth of college memories into the tank for this piece about The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and if I can, I may write a whole other piece about the decidedly out of date optics of cajoling “virgins” to the theatrical experience into participating in rituals they’re not comfortable with (not to mention the optics of calling people “virgins” in this sort of setting). Thinking back now? Lots of what I put up with for the sake of going to go see this movie in a theater wasn’t okay and never should’ve been.
