“The New ‘Looney Tunes’ Movie Is Basically John Carpenter Body Horror — As It Should be”

I’m at the point where the only explanation for David Zaslav’s insistence on making awful business decisions is that someone, somewhere, has compromising photos of him, or he perhaps is into findom, or maybe he just has a blood grudge against Warner Bros. and wants to tank the company from the inside. Honestly, what else is there? He tried to tank The Day the Earth Blew Up, and frankly succeeded, because I don’t know about you, but a $12 million box office return on a $15 budget doesn’t seem like success to me.

And it’s a good movie, too! A classic Looney Tunes joint, connected firmly to the series’ relationship with horror cinema, which goes back for more of the series’ lifespan than not; and for a history lesson, who better to turn to than me*?
