Reaching out to sources for an article and finding out new information is always a joy. Having your own personal preferences and biases validated and shared by a source, though, is sublime. I got that experience talking to Curtis Tsui at Criterion about the Criterion Channel’s Sammo Hung tribute series (“Sammo Hung Kicks Ass”); we both agree that Sammo is, in fact, better than Jackie Chan, which for me is an admission that the first real action star I became enamored with as a kid was just second place next to his former classmate.
